This GPA calculator is based on research findings, but please note that not all factors affecting academic performance were included in the study.
Research Limitations:
- Limited Variables: The research only measured sleep duration, sleep quality, study hours, screen time, and stress level. Important factors such as cognitive ability, self-discipline, learning strategies, teaching quality, motivation, and psychological well-being were not included.
- Sample Limitations: The study used convenience sampling from 112 students, which limits generalizability to all university students.
- Self-Reported Data: All data was self-reported, which may introduce reporting bias or inaccuracies.
- Cross-Sectional Design: The study cannot establish causation, only correlations between variables.
- Limited Variance: GPA scores were skewed toward higher values (mean GPA = 4.23), which may limit the model's predictive power for students with lower GPAs.
- Low Explanatory Power: The regression model explained only 5.9% of GPA variance, indicating that academic performance depends on many complex factors beyond basic lifestyle habits.
Please use this calculator as a general guide rather than a definitive predictor of your academic performance.
